Letters for August Vol. I is the debut EP from LFA — an ambient and electronic project that sits at the intersection of sound design, cinematic score, and music. Developed entirely within the FivePluSix label, from initial concept through to mastering and release.
The EP was produced over six months, with each track built around a specific emotional or atmospheric brief. The sonic language draws from late-night city textures, field recordings, and layered synthesiser work — designed to exist between foreground and background.
The visual identity for the project was built in parallel: a restrained typographic system and a series of still images that communicate mood without being illustrative. Everything earns its place or it gets removed.
Released through a phased strategy — two singles over eight weeks, followed by the full EP. Each drop was accompanied by a visual piece and a short written note from the artist. No noise. Just work, delivered with intention.
